Andrew is an established industry expert in the design, development and integrity management of FPSO hulls, marine renewables, and mooring systems.

Andrew has over 35 years experience working in the energy sector, with a strong background in technology development, engineering, and operation of floating production systems. He has held various senior positions including Project Manager, Engineering Director and Technology Director for a major international floating production contractor. His principal focus has been on the design, fabrication, and structural integrity of floating structures, with a particular emphasis on FPSO hull integrity and mooring system design. In recent years, he has also been deeply involved in the development of marine renewable energy systems, including floating offshore wind, wave energy, and energy storage systems.

Andrew holds a BEng in Structural Engineering, an MA in Industrial Design, and a PhD in Offshore Engineering from University College London. He is a UK Chartered Engineering, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
